Siloam Redemption Apostolic Centre is a Pentecostal and charismatic Church based on the teachings of the Apostles. It aims to accomplish the mission of Christ as defined in the Gospel according to Matthew Chapter 28:18-20, ie: Go all over the world, make all nations my disciples. Filled with the Holy Spirit, the trained disciples proclaim the good news accompanied by the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ told the disciples of John the Baptist: "Go and show John again those things which you do hear and see: "The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. (Matthew 11:4-5). (Isaiah 61:1-3)
Our Beliefs
What we believe:
1. There is one God, who exists eternally in three distinct but equal persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 2. The sovereignty and grace of God in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgement. 3. The divine inspiration of the Bible (Old and New Testaments) which are the written word of God, and its consequent entire trustworthiness and supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct. 4. All men and women, being created in the image of God, have inherent and equal dignity and worth. Yet, since the fall, the whole of humankind is sinful and guilty, so that everyone is subject to God's wrath and condemnation. 5. The Lord Jesus Christ, God’s incarnate Son, is fully God; he was born of a virgin; his humanity is real and sinless; he died on the cross, was raised bodily from death and is now reigning over heaven and earth. 6. Sinful human beings are redeemed from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death once and for all time of their representative and substitute, Jesus Christ, the only mediator between them and God. 7. We who believe in Christ are forgiven all our sins and accepted in God’s sight only because of the righteousness of Christ credited to us; this justification is God’s act of grace and mercy, received solely by trust in him and not by our own efforts. 8. The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling, empowering and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, giving power for service. The operation of the gifts of the Spirit for today. 9. The priesthood of all believers, who form the universal Church, the body of which Christ is the Head, and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the Gospel, to make disciples of all nations. The gospel is the Good News of salvation through Christ and His work, freely offered to all who will repent and believe. 10. The complementary truths of human responsibility and Divine election (God's eternal plan). 11. The practices of Believers' Baptism, and the Lord's Supper, as being instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ, understanding their observance as a response to salvation and believing faith. 12. The expectation of the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory, the bodily resurrection of believers, the judgement of the world, and to establish a new heaven and a new earth.
